In Future I Stay
I dwell in the future, the past unseen,
No less bothered by the troublesome green,
I cascade – no boundaries made,
No worries laid – and yet the price paid.
I dwell in the future, a moment of no see,
For I close my eyes and wonder what to be,
And all this past, troublesome as it would be,
Wades away like a rueful sea.
And when this all crashes away,
I breathe in itself my dusty dismay,
For all these tasks shall never give way,
To my wonderful soul, in future that stay.
